VOCHEI donated over 100 bags with school supplies to elementary school students at the beginning of the 2015 – 2016 school year. VOCHEI has sponsored the educational cost of many well-deserved children. VOCHEI has launched educational sponsorship program to recruit new donors who wish to make a significant impact on the lives of the children in Cabaret who are in dire need of assistance. With a donation of $30 a month, you can make a positive influence on a child life that will cover the cost of education, supplies, and uniforms. As a sponsor, you will receive a photo of the child, as well as an annual progress report. Last year, we sponsored 40 children ‘s education, the goal is to increase to 60 kids for the school year 2018-2019. We also will train Famn Sage the course “Helping Baby Breathe” to teach them the care of the first Golden Minute of life. Only 10% of birth occurs in the acute care settings, many babies are delivered by Famn Sage, this course will help them recognize when a baby is in respiratory distress and provide the necessary care the baby needs to survive.
